Learn With Us

The Chattanooga Food Center conducts one food demonstration a month on a rotating basis at our four participating markets. Additionally, we travel to community center after-school programs to provide cooking classes + food education around Chattanooga. Our after-school program focuses on topics such as meal planning, eating in-season, food budgeting, and food literacy. We post our demo location, time, and featured chef for each month on our social media. We also host an interactive children's food activity every month on the second Saturday at Gaining Ground Grocery.

Walk With Us

Join us at our Walk the Walk Food and Fitness Club, which meets twice a month around city parks, trails and neighborhoods. We lead walks to encourage healthy lifestyles in our community, offer fellowship and camaraderie, and enjoy the abundant beauty the outdoor areas of Chattanooga has to offer. Check out our social media pages and newsletter for where we will be walking every other week!
