Hours of operation:
We're starting small and with limited hours but we will be expanding the inventory in the store each week and when we are able to do so, we will add more days and hours to the store.
The Gaining Ground Grocery concept is the first initiative and project of the Chattanooga Sustainable Food Center. We have been hard at work securing a space, funding and paving the way for this grocery to become a reality. Our goal is to bring local and sustainable produce, meats, eggs and more to the Highland Park area of downtown Chattanooga to provide affordable, healthy food for this area. We envision this grocery as a thread in the fabric of the dynamic Highland Park community tapestry. Currently we are in the final stages before opening and need your support to get the produce on the shelves and get our doors open to the public.
As the grocery prepares to open inside the historic St. Andrew's Center, we are inviting supporters of the store to become charter members, as well as volunteers. We want to offer a collaborative grocery model where supporters and volunteers can work together to create the grocery that best serves their families and neighbors.
